Invisible Name for PUBG
A blank PUBG name is a name made of invisible characters — real characters that show nothing on screen, so the name field looks empty. Copy three of them here and paste them into the rename box, but test them first, because renaming costs.
Made in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing you copy is uploaded, stored or logged.
How to do it
- Press Copy above. Three characters, to get past the minimum name length.
- Test them somewhere free first. The procedure is below, and on this game it is the whole point.
- Open the rename screen. Use your rename card.
- Clear the box, paste, and confirm.
Test it before you spend the card
Renaming costs an item or currency and cannot be undone. Worse, some mobile games quietly reject a name, keep the old one, and still take the card. So spend two minutes on this:
- Paste the characters into room chat. Send it to yourself or an empty lobby. If the message arrives looking blank, the characters survived the game’s own text handling.
- Then try a box that saves text rather than sending it. A clan description, or a friend request note. Saving is the part that usually strips characters, and it is free to try here.
- Only then use the rename card. If it failed either test, come back and pick a different character from the list rather than paying to find out again.
If you cannot get it to survive a free box, it will not survive the paid one. The rename card does not make the game more permissive.
Names, clan names and clan tags
These are three different fields with three different rules, and only the first is likely to work.
- Your player name. The one this page is about. Costs a card to change.
- Your clan name. Often accepts the same characters, and is usually cheaper or free to change — which also makes it a good place to test.
- Your clan tag. The short one in brackets beside your name. Normally restricted to plain letters and numbers, so a blank tag is generally not possible.
What usually goes wrong on PUBG
- The rename card was spent and the name did not change. The game rejected the characters but still took the item. This is the reason to test somewhere free first — a chat box, a clan description, anywhere the same keyboard reaches.
- The field says the name is too short. There is a minimum length. That is why this page copies three characters rather than one.
- The field says the name is already in use. Everyone doing this copies the same character, so the obvious combinations are taken. Change the count or the character.
- Your name shows as your player ID instead. Some screens fall back to the ID when a name is unreadable. Nothing is broken; the name is blank exactly as intended.
- It looks blank to you and normal to your squad. Different screens in the same game render names differently. Ask someone what they see before deciding it worked.
The same advice applies to Free Fire, Mobile Legends, Call of Duty Mobile and similar games: they use the same kind of name box and charge the same way for a rename. Test before you pay.
Common questions
It took my rename card and nothing changed.
The game rejected the characters but still charged you. This is why testing first matters. Next time, try a different character from the list above.
Where can I test for free?
Room chat first, then a box that saves text rather than sending it — a clan description or a friend request note. Saving is the step that usually strips characters, so a character that survives both has a good chance in the rename box.
Can I make my clan tag blank?
Usually not. The tag beside your name is normally limited to plain letters and numbers. The clan name itself is the more permissive field.
Does this work in Free Fire and similar games?
Often, yes — they use the same kind of name box. The advice is the same: test somewhere free before you spend anything.
Can I be banned for it?
A blank name is not a cheat and is common. The realistic risk is the rename being rejected or reset, not the account being banned.
Will other players see a blank name?
Usually they see an empty gap where your name should be. Some screens fall back to showing your player ID instead.
